Join Urban Crawls on a walking tour across Brooklyn Bridge and into DUMBO, (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass), a once industrial neighborhood turned into an artsy hotspot.
First we cross the granite and limestone structure that has enchanted tourists and residents alike for over 130 years. We will explore many of its deepest secrets, from champagne vaults, Cold War fallout shelters, and extravagant parties held in secret rooms underneath the Brooklyn Bridge, to an abandoned skate park hidden in plain sight.
Then we stroll into DUMBO, a trendy neighborhood filled with art galleries, bars, restaurants, and the famous Grimaldi’s Pizzeria. The tour ends at the scenic Brooklyn Bridge Park, with its unbeatable view of downtown Manhattan and the Harbor.
