Discover Manhattan’s vibrant nightlife, on a guided walking night tour of the East River waterfront, and the iconic Brooklyn Bridge.
Meet up at the Lighthouse, in Titanic Memorial Park, a memorial built for the victims of the RMS Titanic. Then stroll the cobbled streets of New York’s original harbor, known as Seaport District NYC, and be surrounded by some of the oldest architecture in downtown Manhattan. Along the edge of the East River, is Pier 17, former gateway for international shipping, maritime activities and the wholesale fish trade. Also, docked at the marina, are the historical ships Wavertree, a cargo ship, and the Lightship Ambrose.
Proceed to Brooklyn Bridge and head up the pedestrian stairway. Stories of the bridge’s grueling construction, extravagant parties, and long forgotten vaults will be revealed as we cross. Take in unobstructed views of the New York City skyline and enjoy photo opportunities with views of both the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges from above and below.
Finally, end in Dumbo, an industrial-turned-trendy neighborhood that is an acronym for “Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass.” Nestled beneath the steel girders of both the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges, DUMBO will charm you with its Belgian-block paved streets, waterfront parks and artsy boutiques.
